Name, image and likeness deals have altered the college football landscape and how the sport functions while providing some awesome opportunities for players, like Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker signing with French’s mustard and Colorado offensive lineman Tommy Brown becoming an instant icon as an underwear model.
And now with Cheez-It sponsoring two bowl games this season, the cracker company went all out with its NIL offerings.
The company signed NIL deals with Florida State wide receiver Mycah Pittman and Oklahoma punter Michael Turk before they play in the Cheez-It Bowl, along with LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier and Purdue wide receiver Tyrone Tracy Jr. ahead of the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl.
Included in the perks of their deals is a stay in one of Cheez-It’s “Feelin’ the Cheeziest” Hotel Rooms, which are so hilariously and ridiculously over the top.
Here’s Turk’s TikTok tour of one of the rooms, complete with Cheez-It… everything.
@hangtimeyt If you thought playing got me feelin’ the cheeziest, wait ‘til you see the @Cheez-It #feelinthecheeziest hotel room!
In a release about the company’s first NIL deals, Cheez-It described the novelty rooms as:
Hotel rooms decked out in floor-to-ceiling Cheez-It-inspired items, like an “I woke up ‘Feelin’ the Cheeziest, Coach!” alarm clock, inspirational Cheez-It-inspired artwork, absurdly plush Cheez-It rugs and luxurious red and yellow bedding. It’s like waking up inside of a Cheez-It box, but better.

Not sure if anyone really wants to wake up inside a Cheez-It box, but these rooms are really something special — even if they’re a bit too much.
