Tomorrow is the only chance to capture the beauty of the historic Chao Phraya River twinkling with candle-lit krathong baskets with a Full Moon shining in the sky above at River Park in Iconsiam.

The "Iconsiam Chao Phraya River Of Eternal Prosperity" celebration invites everyone to come and float their krathong from 3-10pm. Highlighted activities will start with the special dance performance, "Glorious River Under The Moonlight", which will recount the story of rivers, lights and Full Moon nights, at 6.30pm.

Then, actress Maylada "Bow" Susri will show up as Nang Noppamas or the beauty queen of Loy Krathong. She will dress in a specially-made traditional Thai Chakri dress called Nop Naree Sri Chollamark, representing the outstanding beauty of the Full Moon on Loy Krathong night.

Designed by Vanus Couture that fuses Thainess with oriental charm, the white dress is made from Thai silk and embroidered with crystals. She will also be wearing a set of precious gold jewellery with an antique influence called Rohinee Chandra Pimpaporn (meaning the Dress of the Moon). Designed by Thongtanim, it comprises a diamond-inlaid gold crown, a necklace, a pair of earrings, and a gold belt and buckles embellished with diamond-encrusted moonstone. Both the costume and accessories are worth over 20 million baht.

Set to perform a mini-concert on the night will be celebrated singer Palmy, starting at 7.30pm.

Visitors are also invited to learn about the unique kinds of krathong and lanterns associated with the traditional festival in Chiang Mai, Tak, Sukhothai, Roi Et and Samut Songkhram during the "Krathongs From Five Iconic Places" exhibition.

Exclusively at Iconluxe on the M floor, meanwhile, a total of 21 eco-friendly krathong baskets created to mark the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum, or APEC 2022, are displayed until Nov 22.

Made from natural materials, each krathong portrays each country's landmarks and history. The exhibition aims to celebrate the long-standing relationships among the country members of the economic zone and promote cultural exchanges with participating embassies.

At Sooksiam, meanwhile, the "Rak Na Sainam" festival presents a variety of Thai products and delicacies at the temple-fair-themed Sukhothai traditional market, until Thursday.

There will also be the "Nang Noppamas Contest", with cash prizes worth 70,000 baht up for grabs, today starting at 3pm. Visitors are invited to float their eco-friendly krathong in the wells of four regions tomorrow.
