Sections of one of the country’s busy commuter motorways are to be closed over several dates this month.
The M50 northbound and southbound between Junction 13 Sandyford and Junction 17 where the M50 and M11 merge will be closed from 10pm to 5am, on a number of dates this month.
Dún Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council on behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland has made an order to close these sections of the motorway.

The Northbound carriageway will be closed from Wednesday January 18 to Friday 20, Monday 23 to Thursday 26.
The Southbound carriageway will be closed from Monday 16th of this month to Wednesday 18 also from 10pm until 5am each night.
As these will be night works, the motorway will reopen to traffic outside of the working hours.
Several diversions will be in place and for traffic travelling southbound and northbound on M50 from Junction 14 (Sandyford) to Junction 17 (M50/M11).
Diversions will be marked at several locations along both sides of the motorway.
