A section of Glasgow's busiest motorway will close overnight for almost two weeks for bridge expansion works.
M8 westbound will be closed at J19 Anderston Cross to Junction 22 Plantation every evening from Monday 17 January until Sunday 30 January, from 8pm until 6AM.
The works are to facilitate bridge expansion works on the motorway at the the Kingston Complex and Scotland Street Bridge.

Eastbound works commence after the westbound works have finished.
Additional to the main M8 closure, the on ramps at Waterloo Street, Newton Street and the A814 Eastbound overbridge to the M8 westbound are also closed.
Delays can be expected on the diversion route and also on roads which cross the diversion route.
