
Secretary of State Marco Rubio's plane is currently returning to Joint Base Andrews due to a mechanical issue with the aircraft. The decision has been made for Rubio to switch planes before departing again for Munich, Germany.
Rubio's travel plans include attending the Munich Security Conference followed by a scheduled visit to the Middle East. The State Department spokesperson, Tammy Bruce, confirmed the situation, stating that the plane carrying Secretary Rubio experienced a mechanical problem while en route from Washington to Munich.



As a precautionary measure, the aircraft has turned back and is heading back to Joint Base Andrews. Despite the setback, Secretary Rubio remains committed to his travel itinerary and will proceed to Germany and the Middle East on an alternate aircraft.
