Secret Service officials are set to provide a bipartisan briefing to Congress to address concerns regarding a recent incident involving an agent on Vice President Kamala Harris's protective detail. Chairman Comer's letter to U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle raised questions about the agent's hiring and screening process, suggesting potential oversights in her work history. Concerns have been raised within the agency regarding training protocols and disciplinary standards, with some agents highlighting a need for a congressional investigation.
