Ocasio-Cortez criticized the notion of waiting 60 days for a finalized report before taking any actionable steps, stating that immediate policy decisions may be necessary to address the current challenges effectively. Despite the timeline for the report, Cheatle clarified that she is not waiting for the investigations to conclude before implementing necessary changes. She acknowledged the importance of proactive measures to address security concerns promptly.
