Sources have revealed that Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle traveled to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee to establish a 'courtesy connection' with the Secret Service team on the ground following the recent assassination attempt against former President Trump in Pennsylvania.

The convention organizers were informed of Cheatle's presence, leading to a confrontation with four senators - John Barrasso of Wyoming, Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, Kevin Cramer of North Dakota, and James Lankford of Oklahoma. The senators expressed the sentiment that they owed the people and the president 'answers,' prompting Cheatle to respond that 'this is not the venue' for such discussions.
