Upgrading your footwear selection doesn't have to cost a fortune, thanks to a little known part of Schuh's website.
The popular high street store has made it easy to get your hands on discounted kicks from big-name brands.
Shoes from the likes of Nike, Adidas and Converse are being offered at incredibly-low prices, but only if you don't mind putting up with a bit of imperfection. The reason that the pairs are so cheap is because they are part of Schuh's 'ex-display' range.
On its website, Schuh said: “Welcome to our ex-display section. The shoes that have suffered from a little too much interest come here to find forever homes. We reckon it's all character building stuff - some products here will have scuffs, discolouration and other individual quirks.”
There are thousands of heels, trainers and sandals available with huge price-cuts in the Schuh ex-display range.
We're spotted Nike trainers for as little as £8.99 on the site, while the cheapest pair of Converse available are £11.99 (down from £30).
Other brands on offer include Vans, Converse, Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and more.
The imperfections of each ex-display pair have been photographed to show customers exactly what they’re buying.
Schuh said: "We've provided photographs of the actual shoe you'll receive with a brief description of the imperfection. Where there is more than one imperfection, an image of each is shown. Please note the item may not arrive in its original packaging."
Customers can expect to find women's, men's and kids' options, with prices starting from just £5.99.
It doesn't usually take long for shoes to end up with a scuff, mark or scratch on them, so we certainly don't mind picking up a pair that already has minor imperfections.
Keen to shop the range? Simply head over to Schuh's site, click on "sale", then click on "Shop Ex-Display" and you'll be able to see what shoes have been heavily discounted.
