'Secret' ex-wife of crime lord Christy Kinahan dies in the Netherlands

A secret ex-wife of crime lord Christy Kinahan Sr has died.

Jacqueline Kallenbach — who we previously exclusively revealed wedded the ‘Dapper Don’ in secret and ran a number of businesses with him — died after a short illness in the Netherlands last week.

Asked by this paper for comment, Kallenbach’s daughter Francis responded by saying: “What my mother would say was f*ck off.”

In a death notice posted online, 64-year-old Ms Kallenbach’s family said she died “too early” from a short illness.

“We are deeply saddened, but full of admiration for her optimism and willpower during a hopeless and dishonest illness. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to her,” the post read.

“Much too early and still full of plans and ideals, a dear wife, our mother, and dear grandmother passed away after a short struggle.”

Christy’s former wife, who later married a notorious child killer and rapist, is set to be cremated later this week — but no member of the Kinahan family is expected to attend, nor would they be able to due to recent sanctions imposed on them by the US and UAE governments.

Ms Kallenbach, who kept in touch with Christy’s son Daniel over the years and even wished him a Happy Christmas on Twitter in recent years, ran several businesses with the Dapper Don after marrying him in the UK in 2001.

The pair went their separate ways in 2007 — and Ms Kallenbach eventually married triple-killer Louis Hagemann while he was behind bars for the murders of a woman and two children.

In 2017 we tracked down Ms Kallenbach at her home in Amsterdam, where she refused to comment about her past relationship with Kinahan saying: “You are asking the wrong question. With him — I have nothing to do with him. Now f*ck off, f*ck off. It’s none of your business.”

We then revealed her secret relationship to the world — and how she ran a slew of businesses with the mob boss — from tanning and beauty salons to a car dealership and construction and development firms.

In documentation obtained by The Star, it is revealed that Ms Kallenbach and the Dapper Don tied the knot on October 30, 2001.

They shared a home in Chertsey, Surrey from where they also ran up to ten companies.

The house was also once home to the drug kingpin’s eldest son Daniel Kinahan as well as Christopher Jnr.

Company records also showed that Kallenbach — who also called herself ‘Jacky Kinahan’ — was secretary and director of a number firms alongside her then spouse and his sons who are now controlling his €1 billion criminal empire.

After her relationship with Kinahan ended in 2007, Kallenbach formed a relationship with former Hells Angel biker Louis Hagemann who was in prison serving life for the 1984 killing of his ex-girlfriend and her two young kids.

He also faced the court for the bloody 1985 murder of Irish woman Joanne Wilson — however, he was later acquitted due to a lack of evidence.

Ms Wilson from Ormonde Street, Portadown, was just 22 when she disappeared without a trace after meeting a Dutch man later identified by her friends as convicted sex offender Hagemann (60).

The prosecution alleged that Hagemann took the young hotel worker to his Amsterdam apartment where he stabbed her to death before cutting up her body.

Some weeks after her disappearance, a female torso and left leg were discovered wrapped in plastic bags floating in a canal in the Dutch capital close to Mr Hagemanns mother’s houseboat.

Ms Wilson’s head and other limbs were never found.

The Dutch police investigation was held up due to difficulties in identifying the body.

Eventually, the torso and leg were linked with Ms Wilson through body hair found in her flat and the imprint of a sandal.

Young Dutch mother Corina Bolhaar and her children Sharon and Donna were slaughtered by Hagemann in 1984.

The monster, who was known to Dutch police for helping to control the movement of drugs through the country — stabbed them in a horrific bloodbath in their Amsterdam home.

Corina’s other son Brian then just one-year-old was spared on the night and was found in a cot in the room next to the bodies of his mother and siblings.

A neighbour made the discovery two days after the murder when she heard the baby crying from inside their apartment.

Corina (30) had been strangled with a cord and belt while her son Sharon had three stab wounds to the neck and ten to the back and he had also been strangled.

Corina’s daughter Donna (9) was found in her bed with eight stab wounds to the heart and neck. She too had been strangled.

Hagemann has also served nine-years for bank robbery, as well as time for aggravated assault, fleeing from prison and arms and drug offences.

He was also handed a six-year prison sentence in 1998 for the rape of his girlfriend, Renetta van der Meer.

It was her testimony that would lead to his life imprisonment for the murder of Corina and her children.

Ms Kallenbach launched a high-profile campaign to see her husband cleared of the killings and she swore his innocence.

In an interview with a local Dutch paper Ms Kallenbach insisted Hagemann was an innocent man.

“In 2005 my husband was sentenced to life imprisonment for the horrific murder of Corina Bolhaar and her two children. Completely wrong! Louis doesn’t have a clean past, but he has no murder to his name,” she said.

“Many may wonder why I am married to someone who has been given a life sentence. Louis has always had a place in my heart. He is familiar, we don’t have to explain anything to each other, we can appreciate each other, loved and love each other.”
