
Tragedy struck Anderson, South Carolina, once again as severe weather conditions from Tropical Storm Helene claimed another life on Friday morning. The victim lost their life when a tree fell on a home, as confirmed by the Anderson County Coroner’s office.
A spokesperson for the office, Alyssa Whitfield, mentioned that they were on their way to investigate the incident involving the tree falling onto a residence. Unfortunately, details about the victim were not immediately available.


This marks the second reported storm fatality in the state of South Carolina, adding to the growing toll of Helene-related deaths. Across four states, at least 23 deaths have been attributed to the impacts of Tropical Storm Helene.
