As rumoured celebrity throuples make the headlines, KAYAK, the travel search engine, reveals flight searches made by travellers holidaying as a group of three have increased by around 82% compared to last year. The romantic setting of Paris, France is the most popular destination, with searches for flights for three people up around 217% on last year, jumping from the 11th most popular destination in 2022 to the first in 2023.

Marrakech, where rumoured throuple David Haye, Una Healey and Sian Osbourne were first spotted together also appears to be trending, with flight searches up around 258% on last year.

Top 5 most searched holiday flight destinations made on KAYAK.co.uk for groups of three:

  1. Paris, France

  2. Dubai, UAB

  3. Bangkok, Thailand

  4. New Delhi, India

  5. Manilla, Philippines

Evan Day, KAYAK UK Country Manager said: “For those inspired to take a trio trip, sharing a room can be a great way to save money on your holiday. Just make sure to do your research. Many hotel rooms in Europe and other parts of the world charge more for extra occupants, so it's always best to specify in your booking the correct number of travellers and preferred room set up to avoid unexpected fees and ensure everyone has a comfortable stay.”
