Search launched for missing Scots woman last seen three days ago in pink jacket

Police have issued an appeal to trace a 35-year-old woman who has not been seen for three days.

Claire Boyle was last spotted in the area of St Andrews Street in Kilmarnock at around 7.15pm on Wednesday December 7. She is described as being around 5ft 2ins in height, of medium build, and with short fair-coloured hair.

When last seen, she was wearing black jeans and a thin, padded pale pink jacket. Police in Ayrshire have issued a CCTV image of Claire wearing clothes matching that description as part of their appeal.

Officers leading the investigation have issued a direct appeal to Claire's associates to get in touch if they have any information that could help with efforts to track her down.

Inspector Claire Walker said: “Given the number of days since Claire was last seen, our concerns for her welfare are increasing.

"We know that Claire has friends across East Ayrshire and we would appeal to any of them with any knowledge of her whereabouts to come forward, so we can make sure she is safe and well.

“Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident 2255 of 9 December, 2022.”
