Cops in Aberdeen have launched an appeal to trace a 42-year-old man who has not been seen since last week and may have travelled south of the border.
Jamie Douglas, from Aberdeen, was last seen at around 7.30pm on Friday August 27 in the Berryden area. Police believe he may have travelled to the Northumbria area of England - the north-eastern region that covers cities and towns like Berwick-upon-Tweed, Newcastle and Durham.
Jamie is described as 6ft 2ins tall with short brown hair. He wears glasses. When last seen he was wearing a blue waterproof jacket, a grey top, blue jeans and grey two-tone trainers.
Police have urged anyone who has seen Jamie since he went missing, or may have information connected to his disappearance, to get in touch as soon as possible.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Jamie was last seen about 730pm on Friday 27 August 2022 in the Berryden area of Aberdeen. He may have travelled to the Northumbria area.
"Anyone who may have seen Jamie since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number PS-20220826-4251."
Police confirmed on Wednesday morning that Jamie had been found. A statement issued shortly after 8am read: "Jamie Douglas, who was reported missing from Aberdeen, has been traced. Thanks to all who engaged with our appeal."
