A search is continuing for a fisherman, who has been missing in waters off the Whitsundays for several days.
Lee Eastham was last seen at the Pioneer Bay boat ramp in Airlie Beach around 4:30pm on Thursday.
He and his black-and-white dog were reported missing on Saturday after they failed to return.
Mal Priday from Volunteer Marine Rescue Whitsunday Inc said conditions had been difficult.
"It's been blowing at 25 knots plus from the south-east and the conditions on the water were not very good since he went out on Thursday," Mr Priday said.
"The crew yesterday went out around some of the islands to the north of Airlie Beach, and today they've been tasked by police to go around Grimston Point, Woodwark, and Double Bay."
Mr Priday said the 3-metre tinnie would have found the conditions hard to cope with.
"It would have been OK going with the waves, but coming back against it would have been difficult," he said.
Mr Priday said they were hopeful of being able to find Mr Eastham.
"It's possible that the boat may have drifted away, or he may be sheltering elsewhere," he said.
"It's a matter of waiting and seeing."
The search also involved the CQ Rescue Service, which concentrated efforts in waters off Airlie Beach.
It is unknown whether Mr Eastham had an EPIRB on board the boat.
