The search for a missing 74-year-old man has been stood down after a body was found in Ticknock today.
Michael Flynn from Leopardstown was last seen in the early hours of Tuesday, September 6. The Dublin man was last seen heading towards the Ticknock area.
He was known as an avid walker with a very good knowledge of the wider Dublin and Wicklow mountain areas and trails.

A garda spokesman said: "Following the discovery of a body of a male in Ticknock area, on Friday 23rd September 2022, the missing person appeal for Michael Flynn has been stood down.
"No further media action is required and no further information is available at this time.
"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance with this matter."
