Search-And-Rescue Operation Underway At Potomac River After Aircraft Incident

Approximately 300 responders are currently engaged in a search-and-rescue operation at the Potomac River, as confirmed by DC Fire and EMS Chief John A. Donnelly Sr. during a press conference held at Reagan National Airport. The operation was initiated after an aircraft was discovered in the water, prompting immediate rescue efforts. The first units arrived at the scene at 8:58 p.m. following an alert that was raised at 8:48 p.m.
