Cooper Kupp has missed the last three games with an ankle injury that he suffered in Week 2 but he has a chance to return this weekend when the Los Angeles Rams face the Las Vegas Raiders at SoFi Stadium. Kupp checked the first box Monday when he had a good workout in the Rams’ return from the bye and he has a chance to play on Sunday, though Sean McVay isn’t guaranteeing anything yet.
Before practice on Wednesday, McVay shared the latest news on Kupp’s recovery. He told reporters that Kupp will go through individual drills and work on the side with trainers, but he won’t participate in the full practice with the team.
McVay added that there’s still a chance Kupp will play against the Raiders, but it’ll depend on how much he’s able to participate on Thursday and Friday.

Because Kupp isn’t on injured reserve, there’s no firm timeline for him to return. He isn’t required to miss any number of games so as long as the Rams feel he’s ready to play, he can suit up on game day.
