Sean McVay desperately wanted Puka Nacua to break the rookie receiving records he was chasing as fast as possible. He tried getting him the ball multiple times before halftime, and even called a timeout with 2 seconds left in the first half in an attempt to get him the 1 yard he needed.
Well, Nacua went on to break both records on the Rams’ first drive of the second half and McVay couldn’t have been happier – not only for Nacua, but for the fact that he could finally get the rookie out of the game.
His reaction to Nacua’s record was priceless.
