Sean Dyche has wished Frank Lampard well after the ex-Everton manager was confirmed as the new interim boss of Chelsea.
Lampard will see out the campaign in the Stamford Bridge dugout, after Graham Potter was sacked even though he had only been in charge of the club since September.
The 44-year-old has bounced back quickly from his own sacking by Everton in January when he went six games without a win after the World Cup.

Lampard has been tasked with ending Chelsea’s woeful league form whilst also attempting to win the Champions League as they face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
Dyche came in to replace him at Everton and has shown improvements to give fans some optimism in the relegation battle.
The former Burnley manager spoke about Lampard’s return in his press conference today, and said: “Fair play to him. I attempt not to question other managers at any level regardless of situations.
“Everyone gets a job for a reason. I wish him well.”
Everton have already played Chelsea twice this season suffering a 1-0 defeat at Goodison Park and earning a late point on in a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge recently, so a reunion with Lampard is off the cards until possibly next season if he continues in the hotseat.
However, that seems unlikely as several other managers are reportedly being look at by the Chelsea board.
Lampard has already had his first press conference since re-joining Chelsea, when asked about how he felt since coming back he said: “Easy decision for me, this is my club. I'm also a very practical person.
“I've been on a different path since I left Chelsea but to come back when I've been asked and come back with a belief I can help until the end of the season.”
He could still have a big impact on Everton though in the rest of the campaign as his Chelsea side will come up against Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth who are all battling it out for survival with the Blues.
