“Everton Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as Senior Men’s First Team Manager with immediate effect.
“Ian Woan, Steve Stone, Mark Howard and Billy Mercer have also left the Club. The process to appoint a new manager is under way and an update will be provided in due course.
“Under-18s Head Coach Leighton Baines and Club Captain Seamus Coleman will take charge of first-team affairs on an interim basis.”

David Moyes EVS To Be Named As Everton Manager
With Sean Dyche sacked, fans favourite and club legend David Moyes is the favourite to be appointed as Everton’s new manager.
The Scot has been out of work since leaving West Ham United in the summer. In his first spell on the blue half of Merseyside, Moyes oversaw 518 matches between 2002-2013.
During his tenure, the 61-year-old won 218 games in all competitions. Giving him an impressive win rate of 42.08%.
Most notably, Moyes led the Toffees to a fourth-placed finish in 2004/05. However, they weren’t able to qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stages – losing out to Villarreal in the qualifiers.
Nonetheless, the former Manchester United boss endured some brilliant years at Goodison Park. Moyes finished as an FA Cup runner-up in 2008/09.
Everton finished 7th of higher in eight of Moyes’ 11 seasons. Thus earning him legendary status with the Goodison Park faithful.
