Sean Dyche gives strong response to question on Everton investment and potential takeover

Everton manager Sean Dyche insists he doesn’t have to be kept up to date on off the field matters amid fresh reports of new investment/a potential takeover at the club.

An article in the Daily Mail published on Wednesday evening claimed that 777 could acquire the club in a full takeover as early as next week in a £600m deal, dependent on whether or not Everton can retain their Premier League status this weekend. Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Blues’ trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers, Dyche said: “I don’t need to be kept up to date with anything at this stage.
