Sean Dyche gives free agents transfer verdict as Everton charged for Liverpool incident

Here are your Everton evening headlines for Thursday, February 16.

Sean Dyche makes Everton free agents admission and sends transfer plea to supporters

Sean Dyche believes it is unlikely Everton will bring a free agent to the club and has called for patience as he tries to address the imbalances in his squad.

Everton endured a dreadful end to the transfer window with numerous attempts to strengthen Dyche’s relegation-threatened squad resulting in failure. That came despite promises from majority shareholder, Farhad Moshiri, that the Blues would secure a much-needed striker in January.

Instead it could be said that Everton ended the window with a weaker squad than when it opened with Anthony Gordon being allowed to join Newcastle United in a deal that could rise to £45m.

Soon the substitutes on both benches ran down the touchline as the Anfield noise heightened. Amadou Onana and Konstantinos Tsimikas also had a coming together.
