Sean 'Diddy' Combs To Remain In Custody Pending Appeal

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' properties in L.A. and Miami raided by federal agents

Sean 'Diddy' Combs is currently being held in the Special Housing Unit at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until his next court appearance on Wednesday afternoon. This decision was confirmed by a law enforcement official.

The Special Housing Unit is a separate facility from the general prison population and is typically used to house inmates who require additional protection or for other specific reasons.

Notably, the Metropolitan Detention Center has housed other high-profile individuals in the past, such as R. Kelly, Sam Bankman-Fried, and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Combs is set to appeal the decision to hold him without bail in front of US District Court Judge Andrew Carter on Wednesday. If the appeal is unsuccessful, Combs will be returned to the detention center.

During a recent hearing, Combs was denied bail and will remain in custody as he faces charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, as ruled by a federal judge. His legal team has indicated that they plan to appeal this decision. Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.
