Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer has announced plans to appeal the decision that ordered the hip-hop artist and music mogul to be held without bail. The ruling was made by Judge Robyn Tarnofsky on Tuesday, who determined that Combs would remain in custody as the legal proceedings unfold. Combs is facing charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Speaking outside the federal court in New York, Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, expressed confidence in his client's innocence. Agnifilo stated, “He’s going to clear his name and we’re going to stand by his side as he does. We believe in him wholeheartedly.” Combs has entered a plea of not guilty to all the charges brought against him.
The lawyer reiterated his belief that Combs is not responsible for the alleged crimes. The legal team is set to pursue a bail appeal, which is scheduled to take place in the same courtroom on Wednesday, this time in front of a different judge.
