Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs pleaded “not guilty” to new criminal charges in a Manhattan court on March 14, ahead of his trial focused on his alleged sex trafficking crimes which is currently set for May 5.
The new charges include accusations that the music mogul forced employees to endure long working hours, and threatening retribution against them if they did not assist in his two decades-long sex trafficking operation.

The plea was made in front of US District Judge Arun Subramanian during jury selection for Combs’ upcoming May trial. Subramanian is the judge overseeing Combs’ criminal trial.
These recent charges go alongside previous accusations held against Combs including rape, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sex trafficking, child sexual abuse, and drug-faciliated sexual assault.
Diddy’s physical appearance at court was described by eyewitnesses as “bloated” and “old”, with visible grey hair showing, per the New York Post.
CBS reporter Alice Gainer also confirmed Combs’ grizzled appearance, stating that he entered the courtroom “sporting grey hair and a grey beard” in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Combs was nonetheless described as being in “mostly good spirits” in court, and was seen waving and smiling towards his friends and family who were seated near the back.
However, he was also described as shaking his head and whispering to one of his attorneys.

Earlier this month, prosecutors submitted a second amended indictment that added three more female victims that claim to be forced into Combs’ sex trafficking scheme, alongside at least 17 other people.
The 55-year-old producer, who has been in a Brooklyn jail since September 2024, has multiple sexual misconduct lawsuits against him dating from 1990 to 2023.
