Sean Connery's wife and other family members arrived in Edinburgh this week for a final send off to the actor.
The group were seen arriving into Waverley Station on Thursday morning on a private luxury train as they are reported to be making a tour of the country in honour of the Hollywood star.
Originally from Fountainbridge, Sean's family are reported to have been scattering his ashes at some of his favourite spots in Scotland on what would have been his 92nd birthday.

Locals had been stunned to see the private Royal Scotsman train, owned by Louis Vuitton, pull into the station this week, with the party appearing extremely well dressed.
From there, they had travelled to an event at the Dalmeny Estate, with the party said to be the final event on the itinerary for the family before heading home.
A source told the Daily Record: “I couldn’t believe it when I saw Micheline and her party step off the train.
“A trombonist began playing the famous song (King of the Swingers) from the Jungle Book. Micheline walked very slowly arm in arm with a relative to her waiting car. She was small and petite but very, very glamorous and she was dressed in a beige cream coloured outfit as if she were going to a wedding. Everyone had on some sort of tartan.
“We understand Sir Sean’s ashes were scattered at various different points of importance to him in his life. It has all been building up to their final destination which was Edinburgh and Dalmeny yesterday. I thought it was brilliant to see the old-fashioned train and I felt like I was in some sort of movie scene.
“It was all so secretive because it’s all about Sir Sean’s final resting place.”
As they exited the train a fleet of 15 silver, black and burgundy people carriers arrived outside the station. A group of 50 friends and family walked through the station dressed in tartan and colourful dresses.
Connery’s granddaughter Saskia was spotted at the Balmoral hotel shortly afterwards dressed in a green, blue and red dress. She put a post on her Instagram page which showed her standing in front of one of the famous hotel’s Ladies Room sinks.
They then travelled to the privately hired Dalmeny House estate for their exclusive celebration of Sir Sean’s life. Connery’s son Jason and his friend Alex Salmond were understood to be among the guests at the top secret bash.
The Bond star died in October 2020 but a charity in his name continues to raise funds for causes in Scotland and his adopted home in the Bahamas.
Born and raised in Edinburgh’s Fountainbridge area – where he worked as a milkman – he was granted the Freedom of Edinburgh in 1991.
