Seamus Power is seven shots behind leader Collin Morikawa after shooting 69 in his second round at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii on Friday.
The Waterford man made a terrific start to the tournament by carding a 68 on Thursday to begin his second round at four-under par, four strokes behind the leaders.
A stunning 66 from two-time major Champion Morikawa has however seen the Irish star fall behind in the standings. The 2021 Open Champion is the current leader after two days of action and is at 16-under-par.

Power Parred the first hole before chipping in for Birdie on the Par 3 second. Two more Birdies followed at the fifth and the seventh as Power made the turn in three-under-par.
A string of Pars followed before Power made his first bogey of the day on the 14th hole. Power took two shots to reach the 301-yard Par-4 and missed a five-foot Par putt before tapping in for Bogey.
The two-time champion on the PGA Tour bounced back to record Birdies at the 15th and 17th holes, showing some of the form that has seen him climb to number one in the FedEx Cup rankings.
Power sits in a tie for 12th place at 9-under-par along with five other competitors.
The 35-year-old will be desperate for a fast start on moving day to thrust himself back into contention for the title and the winner's check of €2.7 million.
Power will begin his third round on Saturday evening.
