Seamus Coleman was hailed for his class and toughness as he tried to urge his teammates and Everton's fans on while being stretchered off the pitch on Monday night.
The Everton and Ireland captain suffered a knee injury in the Toffees' 2-2 draw with Leicester at the King Power Stadium.
Coleman looked to be in a lot of pain following a nasty collision with Leicester's Boubakary Soumare in the 43rd minute of the clash.

Soumare went in for a tough tackle on Coleman, and upon impact, it appeared that the Donegal native had badly twisted his knee. Play was immediately called to a halt as Coleman received treatment from medics.
He was then taken off on a stretcher but applauded the travelling fans as he was, while he also handed out instructions to team-mates.
The gesture was noticed by many people watching the game, with a number of fans taking to social media to praise the defender.
One said: "The world needs more people like Seamus Coleman. He says that 'Maximum effort is the minimum expectation' and this shows just how much he lives by that phrase."
Another commented: "The mentality of Seamus Coleman by the way. Potentially career-ending injury and he’s giving it the fist pumps on the stretcher."
Sinn Fein TD Pearse Doherty posted: "True leadership from Seamus Coleman tonight. Wishing him a speedy recovery."
Someone else tweeted: "Seamus Coleman trying to get the crowd going after suffering such a bad injury is what legends are made of."
Asked for an update on Coleman after the game, Dyche said: "It's really unfortunate. We're waiting on news, it could be serious, a knee injury. I thought he was terrific."
Coleman was replaced by Nathan Patterson in the fifth minute of stoppage time at the end of the first half. And by that point, Everton were 2-1 down after Caglar Soyuncu and Jamie Vardy cancelled out Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s opener from the penalty spot.
However, Alex Iwobi restored parity nine minutes into the second half. The result leaves Everton inside the relegation zone with four games to go.
