Sky Sports pundit and ex-Premier league star Darren Bent has accused Seamus Coleman of lying about his winner against Leeds on Saturday.
Coleman sprinted down the wing with the ball at his feet and was expected to deliver one of his trademark crosses into the box. However, he surprised everyone by unleashing a shot that flew past stranded Leeds Goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
The goal led to debate around whether he meant to score and Coleman insisted afterwards that it was his intention. Ex-Sunderland striker Bent however disagreed. In a discussion with Andy Goldstein on Talksport, Bent accused the Donegal native of lying about the winning goal.

Goldstein explained to Bent that Coleman had confirmed he tried to score on BBC's Match of the Day but Bent was having none of it.
He said: "I don’t believe him. You’re lying." Goldstein then asked: "Are you calling Seamus Coleman a liar?" The ex-England striker then responded: "In that scenario, yes I am.”
Coleman's goal was enough to secure a vital three points for Sean Dyche's men that lifted them out of the bottom three. It was his first goal since he scored against Leeds last season and his 32nd for Everton.
