Seahawks roster ranked No. 29 going into 2022

If you’re a Seahawks fan, odds are you’re going to have a bad time this year. While they have their strengths, overall this team is one of the weakest in the NFL compared to the competition.

According to ESPN and PFF, Seattle’s roster ranks No. 29 in the league going into the 2022 season.

ESPN identified the greatest strength on the roster as the wide receiver duo of D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. Meanwhile, the biggest weakness is at quarterback, where Geno Smith and Drew Lock are battling to decide who starts Week 1. Their x-factor is correctly pinpointed as the young and as yet unproven pass rush rotation, specifically Darrell Taylor.

If the Seahawks are going to prove these analysts wrong and be better than a bottom five team, they’ll need to find an upgrade at QB and get Jamal Adams performing at his absolute best, especially as a pass rushing option.
