Add the Seattle Seahawks to the growing list of teams interested in talking to Raheem Morris about their head coaching vacancies. With four teams already requesting to interview Morris, the Seahawks become the fifth to do so, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The Seahawks and Pete Carroll mutually decided to part ways this offseason, moving him into an advisor role within the organization. Carroll was with the Seahawks for 14 years so it’s been more than a decade since they’ve had to find a new head coach.
Morris just finished his third year as the Rams’ defensive coordinator. The team finished 20th in yards allowed and 19th in points allowed this season, the third straight season Los Angeles finished 17th or worse in total defense.
With the Rams eliminated from the playoffs, Morris can now turn his focus toward potential opportunities as a head coach.
