Seahawks request interview with a Vikings coach for OC position

The Seattle Seahawks are continuing their search for a new offensive coordinator, and now the list has expanded. It is being reported the Seahawks have requested an interview with a member of the Minnesota Vikings coaching staff: assistant offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Grant Udinski. Given how explosive the Vikings offense was this year, and how solid Sam Darnold looked in this system (aside from the last two games) it is natural the Seahawks would be interested in plucking from this coaching tree.

As it stands, this is now the fourth name Seattle has been linked to in this coaching carousel:

  • Grant Udinski, Minnesota Vikings
  • Thomas Brown, Chicago Bears
  • Klint Kubiak, New Orleans Saints
  • Hank Fraley, Detroit Lions

As discussed earlier on Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns have already found their next offensive coordinator, leaving Kubiak as an available option for Seattle. However it appears the Seahawks are more than willing to wait, and keep their search going to find their next leader of the offense.
