With the No. 108 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, the Seattle Seahawks have selected LSU guard Anthony Bradford.
While he’s not very fast, Bradford has superb size for an interior lineman. At the combine he was measured at 6-foot-4, 332 pounds with 33.5″ arms and 9.5″ hands. He posted a 30″ vertical and 34 bench press reps.
Bradford’s overall grades from Pro Football Focus improved each season, going from 46.0 in 2020 to 58.9 in 2021 and 65.2 last year. He has earned higher grades for his run blocking than pass protection.
It’s tough to project exactly where Seattle will place Bradford, but that’s a good thing in his case. He has experience at three different positions, offering extra depth at multiple spots. Our best guess is that they see him as a right guard.
