Seahawks offense took off when 49ers DE Nick Bosa left the game

There is not one single fan of the Seattle Seahawks who needs reminding of how dominant San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa is. While Aaron Donald of the Rams is finally out of the league, Seattle still has to deal with Bosa, who is a Defensive Player of the Year award winner as well.

Bosa was QUESTIONABLE going into the Week 11 showdown with a hip injury. For the first two and a half quarters, he looked every bit the All-Pro we know and fear him to be. Bosa had racked up four tackles, as well as logging 1.5 sacks. But it was the second sack which cost him – and the Niners – dearly on Sunday.

Once Bosa exited the game, the Seahawks were able to finally score their first touchdown of the day. Up to that point, they had managed only six points off two field goals. Once Bosa was out of the game, the Seahawks managed to get two touchdown drives, including the game-winner thanks to Geno Smith’s scramble.

Without Bosa terrorizing Seattle’s offensive line, they were able to give Smith just enough protection for him to work his magic late. Unfortunately for Bosa and the Niners, it appears the injury causing him to leave the game early was a new one.

Bosa has hurt his other oblique, and it could hold him out of a game or two. Afterwards, Bosa described his new injury as not great  and explained he was likely overcompensating for his other injury.
