The culture Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks have cultivated for the better part of two decades is truly something special. Players who have been in the program always seem to find their way back, even if the endings were a bit unceremonious.
One such player is defensive lineman Jarran Reed. After two years away from Seattle – enjoying stints in Kansas City and Green Bay – Reed is back in the fold. But he is not the only former Seahawks defensive lineman back. Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril – the two wrecking balls of the Legion of Boom’s defensive line – are still around. Although they are no longer playing, Bennett and Avril can still impact Seattle with their knowledge, which is what they did when they briefly coached.
Buy Seahawks TicketsReed remembers his former teammates well, and had nothing but kind words to say about Bennett and Avril. Their presense even inspired him to work harder as well.

Reed could not be coming back to Seattle at a more perfect time. The Seahawks are in desperate need to improve their defensive line, which was ranked 30th against the run last year. Reed will need to keep working hard if Seattle wants to improve from their abysmal effort last year.
