Monday marked the first full day of pads for the Seattle Seahawks at their training camp. After taking the weekend off, the Seahawks were back in action. Reportedly, the first day with pads was a decisive victory for the defense, who had the edge on offense today.
Head coach Mike Macdonald took to the podium and highlighted a pair of defenders. Two of the newest faces to Seattle this year are linebackers Tyrel Dodson and Jerome Baker. Coming over from the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, respectively, these two are filling in some very large shoes at the linebacker position.
The good news for the Seahawks is they seem to be off to a fantastic start. Macdonald is pleased with their poise, communication, and how smooth they are playing. Macdonald’s full comments can be seen in the Tweet below.

The Seahawks are going to need solid production from Dodson and Baker. They are replacing Bobby Wagner and Jordyn Brooks, who provided Seattle with 294 total tackles last year.
Both are currently under one-year contracts.
