Like the Seahawks, the Browns are now also on the outside looking in for the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes. Their pursuit has also upset their current franchise quarterback, who’s mad enough to demand a trade. Having just sent their own QB1 away in a trade to the Broncos, Seattle is one possible destination if it happens.
According to a report by Josina Anderson at USA Today, the Seahawks have discussed exploring a trade for Baker Mayfield.
I'm told the #Seahawks have discussed exploring acquiring Baker Mayfield at quarterback, per league sources.

Mayfield (who is 26 years old) has gone 29-30 as a starter for Cleveland since he was picked No. 1 overall in the 2018 NFL draft.
This past season Mayfield struggled, throwing just 17 touchdowns to go 13 interceptions, but injuries definitely played a role in those issues. Mayfield’s production was far better during the 2020 campaign and he also had a promising rookie year.
Mayfield has one season left on his contract. His cap number for 2022 is $18,858,000 and is fully guaranteed.
