The Seattle Seahawks have offered second, in-person interviews with three candidates for their open offensive coordinator position: Klint Kubiak of the New Orleans Saints, Hank Fraley of the Detroit Lions, and Grant Udinski of the Minnesota Vikings. However, it appears the Seahawks have a little competition from an old AFC rival when it comes to Grant Udinski. On Tuesday it was reported the New England Patriots have also interviewed Udinski for their open OC position.
The Patriots interviewed Vikings assistant OC/assistant QBs coach Grant Udinski for their offensive coordinator job yesterday, per sources. Udinski’s very valuable in Minnesota—and considered a rising star in the field.
The 28-year-old is also a finalist for the Seattle OC job.

The Patriots are entering a season with another new head coach, albeit it’s one who is awfully familiar with the franchise: former linebacker and Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel. Considered a defensive coach, it makes sense why Vrabel would also be seeking out a fresh mind to lead his offense and second year quarterback Drake Maye.
The presence of Maye might be enough to sway Udinski, as he would have a young franchise quarterback at his disposal to help grow and execute his system.
