The Seattle Seahawks have made a pair of roster moves on Saturday prior to their Week 13 game against the New York Jets. The Seahawks elevated safety Ty Okada and quarterback Jaren Hall from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster.
Okada has made the move from practice squad to the active roster a few times this year, being active in both games against San Francisco and Atlanta. So far this year he has logged three total tackles. Okada knows the system and provides depth at safety.
Meanwhile, elevating Jaren Hall is a little curious. Hall was signed to the Seahawks at the beginning of September after spending his rookie season with the Minnesota Vikings. Hall played in three games, started two, and won one of them. However, the one win was one where he was knocked out of the game with a concussion, did not return, but the Vikings still held on for a victory. This will be the first time the Seahawks have rolled with three quarterbacks for a game day.
The Seahawks and Jets will kick off Sunday at 10:00 am Pacific time on FOX.
