Seahawks agree to terms with free safety Quandre Diggs

One of the Seahawks’ top free agents – safety Quandre Diggs – will be staying in Seattle after all. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting Seattle and Diggs have agreed to terms on a three-year deal worth $40 million.

Diggs, 29, was originally selected by the Lions in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL draft out of Texas. He spent his first four seasons in Detroit before he was traded to Seattle in October of 2019.

In 17 games played for the Seahawks last year, Diggs posted 82 total tackles, seven passes defensed and five interceptions.

During Seattle’s final matchup of the regular season, Diggs suffered a dislocated ankle and a broken fibula, but is expected to be medically cleared to return to football activities in June.
