The Seahawks will go into the 2023 NFL draft with a top-five overall pick, 10 picks in all and the second-most capital in the league. That puts them in position to capitalize on the strengths of this class as well as filling their immediate roster needs. After their stunning success in 2022, another quality draft would set Seattle up is a true contender in the NFC.
With that in mind, in our latest seven-round mock draft, we tried our best to check every single box. Along the way we filled needs along the defensive line, as well as linebacker, center, wide receiver, running back and guard. We also made sure to get tight end and cornerback picks to take advantage of the depth at those positions. We also took a detour to roll the dice on one of the under-the-radar quarterback prospects in this class. Here’s how the full mock draft played out.

Carter won his fair share of battles in the showdown vs Torrence though. Torrence gets taken for a ride and this play is blown up. I get that Jalen Carter might be the most talented dude in this #NFLDraft but it won’t get easier for Torrence in the NFL! pic.twitter.com/hae5uC8MqD

Potential #Eagles Scheme Fit:
Myles Murphy
Would probably rush off the edge on that 2nd unit with BG, and he would be terrifying. Wide 9, 5T, 7T…he can win with his strength and athleticism #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/gqTm3zpOIZ— EJHolt_NFLDraft🏈 (@EJunkie215) February 23, 2023
Pick No. 37: Stanford QB Tanner McKee

Tanner McKee's ball placement is up there with the best in this QB class. pic.twitter.com/OxZMfp1TH1

Stanford’s Tanner McKee has his limitations and that offense certainly didn’t help him but he can really rip it from the pocket when he’s protected; fits this one into a tiny window.
His arm and decision-making should help him stick as a backup. Solid Day 3 QB in this NFL Draft. pic.twitter.com/O3nYIzvcAV

Pick No. 83: Stanford WR Michael Wilson
I'm a very big fan of Stanford WR Michael Wilson. His game translates so effortlessly to the NFL pic.twitter.com/JAxB8p4n0g
— Jack Brentnall (@Jack_Brentnall) March 22, 2023
While Michael Wilson's biggest allure is his release and footwork, he doesn't have to get wide open to make catches either. He adjusts his body to the ball when the coverage is tight and can shield the ball away from defenders with his frame. His run blocking is nice too.

Pick No. 151: Old Dominion TE Zack Kuntz
Lot of big school tight ends on the #ShrineBowl1000, but few, if any, are as athletically gifted as @ODUFootball TE Zack Kuntz (@zackkuntz_717)
At 6'7 with an 83+ inch wingspan, Kuntz has special physical, athletic, and pass catching traits. #ShrineBowl1000 https://t.co/w4TIDPT0Pe pic.twitter.com/MktvbXjsnm

If the @Chiefs draft @zackkuntz_717, they’re getting a steal. He has all the tools to be an All-Pro. Another potential RZ threat for MVPat. If you put the ball in the right spot, Kuntz is the only one that can go get it. @ChiefsFocus #ChiefsKingdom pic.twitter.com/Q3uXnyA7Vo

Pick No. 198: UCLA G Atonio Mafi
IOL Atonio Mafi
A warrior in the trenches with a ton of power to spare, Atonio Mafi typically represents what you want in an OL.

To round out the draft we collect 3 7th Rounders as a capstone. Moving back to #245 we take hard hitting Ole Miss Safety AJ Finley. A few picks later at #249 we take OSU CB Alex Austin who fits our guardrails. Great depth option and special teamer #Browns pic.twitter.com/wR1Dp8KZiy
