Rubin Kazan sports director Rustem Saimanov has refused to address a complaint from Swedish side Norrkoping over the sale of Sead Haksabanovic.
The 23-year-old completed his transfer to the Scottish Premiership champions on deadline day from the Russian side - just 12 months after Rubin signed the Montenegro international for £5.5million from the Swedish minnows. Haksabanovic reportedly moved for a fee in the region of £2.6million, which has been included as part of a complaint made to FIFA by Norrkoping chairman Sakarias Mardh.
Mardh has claimed that the Rubin have yet to pay £3.2million of the transfer fee to the club following Haksabanovic's move to the Russian Premier League last summer. He has publicly stated that there are no questions marks over the forward's status as a Celtic player, but confessed he was unsure how the club could sell Haksabanovic without paying the full fee to the club.
When quizzed over payments to clubs in light of the Hakasabanovic issue, Saimanov was quick to turn the tables. He insisted Rubin are facing their own issues with recouping transfer fees after Anders Dreyer's move to Danish side Midtjylland.
He said they have raised their own issue with the Russia Football Union. Saimanov told Match TV: “We have difficulties with the receipt of funds (also). Not only from clubs.
"It's hard to get money from abroad. And so, we are owed by Midtjylland for Dreyer. So far there has been no payment from them. But we are in contact with the RFU, we are solving this issue. I hope that everything will end well."
