A scrambler biker tried to flee from police after being caught in a "mucky situation" in Knowsley.
The man was seen riding a scrambler bike along County Road and Moorgate Road on Thursday night, before dumping it on Ribblers Lane.
He then led police on a chase on foot but officers soon caught up with him.

Merseyside Police said the man was arrested for a number of offences including theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and driving with no licence or insurance.
He also failed a roadside drug test for cannabis.
Knowsley Police shared a picture of the scrambler bike on their Facebook page.
A police spokesperson said: "A foul move by a young male tonight led to him being arrested for a number of offences including theft of a motor vehicle, Dangerous Drive, Driving with no licence or insurance!
"The male was seen riding a scrambler bike along County Road and Moorgate Road before dumping the bike on Ribblers Lane. After a short foot chase, the male was caught in a mucky situation.
"As if that wasn't bad enough, the male failed a roadside drug wipe for cannabis. #Scoopthepoop #TeamKP #OpBrookdale."
