ITV presenter Lorraine Kelly has been having some fun in the sun with her furry friends, as Scotland's temperatures reached a record high over Monday and Tuesday.
The Scottish television host has been back on our screens this week, after she recovered quickly from coronavirus, after being side-lined with the condition at the start of July. This meant former Countdown star Carol Vorderman stepped into Lorraine's role on her self-titled ITV breakfast show for a week as the Scot recovered at home.

Thankfully, the 62-year-old made a full recovery and has been back on our telly's reporting on the latest news, trending topics and fashion stories from 9am each weekday. But, Lorraine has also been basking in the hot sun as we experienced the UK's biggest heatwave across Monday, July 18 and Tuesday, July 19.
Temperatures soared to 33C across Scotland, with many workplaces closing early, trains being cancelled and families heading straight for the nearest beach as the degrees climbed and climbed. Lorraine posted an adorable photo of daughter Rosie's mini wire-haired dachshund Ruby, having some fun in a paddling pool.
Lorraine captioned the post: "@rubyisasausage keeping cool." The pup can be seen splashing about in the water, enjoying the refreshing activity as Lorraine laughed in the background, clutching a hose.
Earlier this year, Edinburgh Live reported that Lorraine had shared another milestone on her social medias, as she celebrated reaching a major weight loss goal.
The ITV presenter has been working hard alongside WW, formerly Weight Watchers, in order to shed one and a half stone from her figure. The 62-year-old television host shared that she began her journey during lockdown, as she went from a size 10 to 14 over the pandemic, which caused her to have confidence issues.
It even impacted her attendance at important events, which meant she knew things had to change. Since then, she has teamed up with WW to lose some weight, and now feels "healthier and happier" than ever, according to social media.
She had noted that her dieting didn't come at a cost of cutting out foods completely, but is more of an awareness of what she eats.
Lorraine's self-titled ITV show is on each weekday at 9am. It is available for catch-up thereafter on the ITV Hub.
