The SSPCA is appealing to animal lovers to donate kitten food for young cats in the care of their Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
The centre, in Hamilton, is currently caring for 16 kittens and is running low on the IAMS for vitality dry kitten food they use to feed them.
Items can be purchased from the centre’s Amazon wish list or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery to the centre. Donations can also be handed into the centre reception between 1pm and 4pm daily.
Centre assistant manager, Carrie Gianelli said: “We are currently caring for a high number of kittens at the centre and have a lot of hungry mouths to feed.
“We like to keep the kittens on a consistent diet while they’re with us, which is why we are specifically asking for IAMS kitten biscuits.
“This food helps keep kittens like Esme and Renee happy and healthy while they wait to find their forever homes.
“We’d be so grateful for any donations that people can spare and we know the kittens in our care will be too.”
