Scottish sister's agonising appeal to find lost footage of late brother

The sister of a Scottish man, who died over two decades ago in a horror car accident, is launching a heartbreaking appeal to find footage of him that is lost.

As reported by the Daily Record, 34-year-old Cheryl Black is urging anyone who may have picked up the video tape of her brother Alex, playing football with his other siblings, to hand it in to police or contact her directly.

Alex Black was just 18 when he was tragically killed in a horror car accident.

The footage is thought to have been lost around 5pm on Tuesday January 25, between the high rise flats at Callander Park in Falkirk, and the ASDA bus station in the centre of town.

Cheryl said: "This tape means everything to us.

"It's the only footage we had of Alex before he passed away, and we are desperate to get it back.

"My other brother Liam, was on his way to get the video converted into a DVD for all the family, so we all had a copy.

"My mum is absolutely gutted, we all are actually, we have been out looking for it ourselves but have had no luck.

"I really hope someone has picked it up after spotting it in the street and we get it back. We would even offer a reward - it means that much to us."

"I am devastated."

If you come across the tape, hand it into your nearest police station.
