Six small Scottish retailers have been crowned among some of the best independent retailers across the entire country.
Shops based in Stenhousemuir, Dunfermline, Motherwell, Kirkcaldy, Errol and Glasgow were named on the highly sought after list from the Independent Achievers Academy (IAA.)
The IAA's list of top 100 independent retailers aims to celebrate the success and excellence of many smaller independent shops across the UK and Ireland.
This year's list of independent retailers that had made the highly acclaimed 'Top 100' was published just recently from BetterRetailing.co.uk.
The list represents retailers that continue to "deliver brilliant standards, offering fantastic service, and creating memorable experiences for their shoppers."
Better Retailing, which publishes the annual list, explains that each retailer on the list was subject to independent assessments to qualify for the distinguished list.
These can include mystery shopping, digital reviews and video interviews to see how retailers are handling challenges and engaging with their consumer base.
