A total of 31 horses have been declared for Saturday's £200,000 Coral Scottish Grand National with the final field set to be revealed on Thursday.
Last year's runner-up Kitty's Lights heads the sponsors' betting at 4/1 favourite with Jonjo O'Neill's Monbeg Genius next in the market at 13/2 after finishing third to Saturday's Aintree winner Corach Rambler at Cheltenham last month.
Lucinda Russell could be represented by 2021 winner Mighty Thunder but her leading hope on Saturday looks to be the current 10/1 chance Your Own Story, which has form figures of 3-5-2 at Ayr and looked to be suited by marathon distances when winning over 3m 7f at Wetherby last month and going down narrowly over slightly shorter at Haydock 2 weeks later.
Potential Irish challengers Gevrey (Gordon Elliott) and Malina Girl (Gavin Cromwell) are also bracketed on 10/1 with the Sandy Thomson trained pair Empire Steel and Flower Of Scotland both on 12/1 after Sandy lost Hill Sixteen in a fatal fall at Aintree on Saturday.
Scottish owned Dusart (Ronnie Bartlett) is on 14/1 alongside Elvis Mail (Nick Alexander), Flash Collonges (Paul Nicholls) and Undersupervision (Nigel Twiston-Davies) with Nicholls already successful 3 times in the race with Belmont King (1997) and Vicente (2016 & 17) and Twiston-Davies also a 3-times winner with Captain Dibble (1992), Earth Summit (1994) and Hello Bud (2009).
Nicholls could also be represented by Scottish owned Threeunderthrufive (Max McNeill) while the 2013 winner Alan King (Godsmejudge) could saddle 16/1 Notachance. Fergal O'Brien's sole remaining entry is Manofthepeople (16/1) with Joe Tizzard likely to send another 16/1 chance in the shape of Oscar Elite.
