A SCOTTISH distiller saw their products included in gift bags presented to winners and presenters at the Golden Globes Awards this year.
Isle of Harris Distillery’s Isle of Harris Gin and inaugural single malt whisky, The Hearach, were included in the exclusive bags valued at $1 million.
The bags featured a range of travel, culinary arts, fashion, wellness and beauty products including CurrentBody LED Light Therapy Face Mask Series 2 ($496), La Prairie’s Pure Gold Radiance Concentrate serum ($935), and Brad Pitt’s brand Beau Domaine The Fluid Cream ($209).
The products were all contained in an Atlas Bespoke Weekender Bag designed for the 82nd Golden Globes.
TV personalities Lorraine Kelly and Ross King named Isle of Harris Gin and The Hearach as the top gifts and “the best” during their recap on ITV’s Lorraine on Tuesday.
Speaking to Kelly, King noted: “You get all those amazing things, and then you get something which is even more amazing – Isle of Harris Gin, and they’ve got the new whisky now called The Hearach.
"So, there we are, they were both in the bag. How brilliant, Isle of Harris getting in there, well done to the team!”
The Hebridean distillery continues to grow its presence in the US market, having only entered in spring 2021.
Both the gin and single malt whisky now available in numerous states, including at prestigious venues like The Carlyle Hotel and Noksu in New York.
Distillery owners hope to further expand across the US in 2025, building on its success at high-profile events including NYC Tartan Week in 2024.
